FitEx – the Science & Business of Fitness & Exercise

FitEx is the (all new) name for the conference for the fitness and exercise industry in New Zealand. 

Formerly known at the GetNZ Active Conference, this event features the latest in science and business for every facet and role within the fitness industry – from facility owners, though to exercise professionals (Personal Trainers, Group exercise Instructors).

The event is initiative of FitnessNZ, the health & fitness industry association, and is recognised by the NZ Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) for Continuing Education Credits (CECs).

2012 Schedule & Brochure

The Schedule and Session information handbooks are being distributed in mid 2012 (and uploaded to this site), with copies being sent to all REPs Registered Exercise Professionals and FitnessNZ members as soon as they are available.

Dates & Investment

The conference will be held on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 November 2012. Pre-conference workshops will be held on Friday 23 November.

Previous events have been very successful with almost 400 club owners/managers, personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and other industry professionals attending over the 2 days.
