Runners Rehab

Are you or your clients running with niggles and injuries? Too many of us assume this is normal when running and just put up with it.

Running niggles and injuries do not need to be the norm and neither do….

High volume of pain killers to ease running injuries and niggles
Over the counter foot supports fitted into motion control shoes to reduce pain from running
Neoprene supports for feet, ankles and knees that claim to get you to the start line injury free

In this session we will review some of the common chronic running injuries and how we can work on each of them to keep them at bay and run with more freedom and happiness.

In this session you will learn:

1. How to work with common running injuries – plantar fasciitis, iliotibial band syndrome, runners knee and shin splints.

2. The importance of hydration, sleep, and NOT stretching in injury prevention.

3. How to manage running volume and programming to help you and your clients recover from injury.
