Shaking it up for Parkinsons disease

Parkinson’s Disease is the second most common neurological disorder and the number of people being diagnosed with the condition has grown significantly over the past 10 years. Awareness of the early signs and symptoms is crucial in taking early action against this debilitating disease. Exercise is the only treatment that slows the progression of the disease but it has to be Parkinson’s specific exercise that is applied early in order for it to make a difference. This session will give you the tools you need to identify symptoms early, provide neuro-active exercise that makes a significant difference to quality of life and understand the limitations of this population group.
